Base LedThe New Age Is An Attempt To Unify All People, But Not Through A New Age Religion.
New Age religion? What do you mean? New Age is actually old age in the way of thinking. No, this is not a violent dogmatic way of thinking either. New Age could never be a religion. Beware of those who claim to have started a New Age religion!
Religion has always been a bad thing for the world, than again, spirituality has not. Religion can be the killer of the spirit. The New Age combines the best of religious and philosophical ideas: the ideas that are good for us, ignoring and condemning the ideas that have been harmful for the human-race.
Today the New Age movement has evolved as is the nature of the New age movement. In order to get a broader understanding of the spirit the New Age will combine science, Quantum physics, and scientific experimentation to gather proof of spirituality. This is truly exciting, and is finally combining science and spirituality where they both have always belonged.
The New Age is old, but is was never a religion. The Christians plunged the world into darkness and ignorance for centuries, after a time of high culture, a time of understanding the universe both through spirituality and science, until the Christians stopped New Age thinking bringing about a dogmatic, literalistic belief system to an enlightened empire.
Even today with the widespread instant access knowledge Internet base, we are still threatened by religion. By Christians and Islamics, and other religions, fighting it out, putting our world into danger.
The only thing that might be close to a community that adopts more of a New Age wha of thinking is through the Unitarian Church, which accepts and communes and loves all people of all religions. The Unitarians make up people of every faith, and worship God as one, under one roof. This is what the world needs more of. This is the way it should be everywhere.
Although most religions are preaching the same thing, they continue to pull us apart, pitting brother against brother. All I can say is wake up world, and see the things we have in common not what separates us.
Discovering the things that unify all of us, not separate us is what the new Age is attempting to do, to unify all people, not through a New Age religion.
Becoming unified is the way of the future. The time of dogmatic religion, or thinking of starting a New Age religion, is over. People aren't following the Church like they once did. More and more European church's are turned into art galleries, and restaurants. Religions will not become sublime when they do not change. Perpetual change is law number one in the Universe.
